My name is Krzysztof Laszkiewicz, Kris for short and to ease the trouble for those that try to pronounce my full name.
I am in my thirties. I am an open minded, energetic, creative and full time photographer, full of new individual ideas.
I came to Scotland in 2005, what was supposed to be a three month's contract and I fell in love with the place. As a member of Historic Scotland I have visited stunning castles and mysterious places and have started capturing the beauty of this land. Now I find my passion to explore new places very useful when it comes to creating unique romantic backgrounds for wedding shoots and exceptional portraits.
Photography has always been my hobby and passion. I have developed my knowledge at Edinburgh Telford College where I have studied photography.
Taking pictures is more of a passion than job for me, therefore every session I take is treated seriously and with a personal touch. My attitude results in beautiful photographs, with the time taken to ensure a stress free and enjoyable experience.
I have photographed weddings all over Scotland from the Scottish Borders (Kelso Town Hall) to the Highlands (Killimonivaig Church).
I specialize in a reportage style which results in natural, artful, innovative and stunning photographs. I also deliver fantastic group and posed shots taken in a relaxed and stress free environment.
I have won 4th place in Wedding Photograph of the Year 2011 competition , my photo was chosen from 750 entries from all over UK, you can read short article about it here.
