A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony at The Season Quayside
The day began with a lovely wedding ceremony at The Season Quayside, one of Edinburgh’s distinctive waterfront wedding venues. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and full of emotion, making it the perfect setting for De and Richard to celebrate their marriage.
One of the special highlights was the traditional drinking from the quaich, a beautiful Scottish wedding custom symbolising friendship, trust and the sharing of life together. It was a lovely personal touch that added Scottish tradition and meaning to their ceremony.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed live music during the mingling and celebrations. The music created a wonderful atmosphere, allowing everyone to relax, chat and enjoy the occasion. There was plenty of laughter, happiness and those natural, spontaneous moments that make wedding photography so special.

One of the highlights of De and Richard’s wedding day was their photo session around The Shore in Leith Harbour, Edinburgh.
The Shore is one of our favourite locations for wedding photography in Edinburgh. With its historic waterfront, charming harbour atmosphere, beautiful buildings and reflections on the water, it offers a fantastic backdrop for romantic and natural wedding photographs.
Taking a short break from the celebrations, De and Richard enjoyed some time together while we captured a mixture of romantic portraits and relaxed, candid photographs. Rather than making the session feel like a formal photoshoot, we encouraged them to enjoy the moment, walk together, smile and simply be themselves.
