The Setting – Whitekirk Hill & The Bass Rock Backdrop
Whitekirk Hill is one of East Lothian’s hidden gems. Set among rolling hills with breathtaking views stretching all the way to the Bass Rock, it’s the perfect spot for couples who love nature and a relaxed countryside vibe. The soft Scottish light and open landscapes gave us the most incredible backdrops for natural, candid wedding photography.
From the moment I arrived, I could feel the energy of the day — calm, happy, and full of love. The venue’s modern yet rustic charm blended beautifully with the couple’s style, creating a perfect atmosphere for their celebration.

Keith and Siddhi were an absolute joy to photograph. Their connection was so genuine, full of laughter and little glances that spoke volumes. Surrounded by friends and family, they celebrated with smiles that never left their faces.
The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, followed by a relaxed afternoon filled with laughter, sunshine, and some unforgettable views over the East Lothian coastline. As the day turned into evening, we took a quiet moment for a few portraits with Bass Rock glowing in the distance — a scene that felt like something out of a dream.
