It was an absolute pleasure for Kris Soul Photography to capture the beautiful wedding day of Morven & Sami at Glencorse House, one of the stunning wedding venues near Edinburgh.
From the traditional ceremony at Glencorse Old Kirk to the celebrations at Glencorse House, it was an amazing day filled with laughter, emotion, beautiful scenery, family, friends and plenty of Scottish traditions.
A Beautiful Ceremony at Glencorse Old Kirk
The day began with Morven & Sami’s wedding ceremony at Glencorse Old Kirk, a beautiful and historic setting close to Glencorse House.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds walked outside to a wonderful confetti throw, creating some fantastic natural and joyful wedding photographs. These moments are always great to capture as the couple can simply enjoy the moment with their family and friends while the excitement of the day continues.
Wedding Photography Around the Grounds
After the ceremony, we headed to the lovely grounds around Glencorse House for the couple’s wedding photography session.
The scenery provided a fantastic backdrop, with the loch and Pentland Hills creating a beautiful Scottish setting for their wedding photographs. We kept the session relaxed and natural, allowing Morven & Sami to enjoy some time together while capturing a mixture of romantic portraits and informal photographs.

A Change of Outfit During the Wedding Meal
One of the highlights of the day was seeing Morven & Sami change into beautiful Asian outfits during the wedding meal, bringing another wonderful cultural element to their celebrations.
It was a fantastic opportunity to capture a different part of their wedding story, with photographs of the couple, their family and friends enjoying the celebrations.
Traditional Scottish Ceilidh in the Evening
As the evening celebrations began, the atmosphere really came alive.
After the wedding cake, the couple and their guests enjoyed traditional Scottish dancing with a live band and ceilidh. There was plenty of energy on the dance floor, with guests joining in and enjoying the traditional Scottish dances.
From the quiet moments during the ceremony to the excitement of the ceilidh, the whole day was filled with opportunities for natural, candid and memorable wedding photography.
