Mairi and Stuart’s day brought a real mixture of Scottish weather — sunshine, clouds, and a few dramatic moments in between — but that never stopped us from making the most of the outdoor spaces. In fact, the changing light added so much atmosphere and character to their photographs.
Cherry Blossoms, Wildlife & Unforgettable Moments
One of the highlights of the day was exploring the zoo grounds for portraits. The cherry trees were in bloom, creating stunning soft backdrops for romantic photographs of the newlyweds.
Then came one of the most unique parts of the day — photo sessions beside the giraffes and penguins. Stuart is a huge penguin fan, so including the penguins in their wedding photographs was an absolute must. These moments added such a personal touch to the gallery and made the experience even more memorable for everyone involved.
The giraffes also gave us some incredible photo opportunities, adding that magical Edinburgh Zoo atmosphere that makes this venue unlike anywhere else in Scotland.

After the outdoor portraits and animal encounters, everyone returned to the Mansion House for an amazing evening celebration.
