The morning began at SkyBar Edinburgh, where Taylor spent a calm and joyful morning getting ready with her two bridesmaids, her mum, and the cutest little flower girl. There was no rush—just plenty of smiles, excitement, a few happy tears, and lots of anticipation before the ceremony.
The venue offered the perfect modern setting for bridal preparations, with natural light pouring through the windows and breathtaking views across Edinburgh creating a beautiful atmosphere for those quiet moments before everything began.
Meanwhile, Josh arrived with his best man and groomsman, enjoying a relaxed drink at the bar while putting the finishing touches on their suits. It was a great opportunity to capture some genuine moments between friends before the celebrations officially started.

After the ceremony, everyone gathered outside for a fun confetti celebration before we slipped away with the newlyweds for a relaxed portrait session.
One of the things we always tell our couples is that wedding portraits don't need to feel like a photoshoot. We simply go for a short walk, have a chat, and let moments happen naturally.
The areas around SkyBar Edinburgh offer so many beautiful backdrops, from contemporary architecture to incredible city views, allowing us to create a collection of natural images without taking Taylor and Josh away from their guests for too long.

As the celebrations continued into the evening, the atmosphere became even more relaxed. Friends and family filled the room with energy, heartfelt speeches brought plenty of laughter, and the dance floor quickly came alive.
One of the standout moments of the evening was the father and daughter dance. What started as a traditional slow dance suddenly turned into a hilarious surprise performance featuring a series of different dance routines that had everyone cheering, laughing, and reaching for their phones. It was one of those unexpected moments that perfectly reflected the fun personalities of Taylor and Josh's families.
